By purchasing any of the tickets and services of the Family Park, the Guest (hereinafter referred to as the "Guest") acknowledges the House Rules and considers them accepted together with other legal regulations applicable to BalaLand Hotel Üzemeltető Kft. (hereinafter referred to as "Operator") and other provisions and regulations related to the operation of the Family Park (hereinafter referred to as "Facility" or "Family Park"). The Operator reserves the right to change the provisions of this Policy.
General provisions
- The price of the service includes the service fee, therefore the employee of the Family Park may not request or accept any other benefits.
- The service is available to the Guests in the order of their arrival, except in the case of online ticket purchase, when Our Guests are entitled to enter the Family Park as a matter of priority upon presentation of the appropriate supporting document.
- Entry to the Family Park and use of the services is only possible against the purchase of a valid daily ticket. Wristwatches/wristbands/cards entitling daily access must be worn at all times and in a visible place by those staying in the area of the Family Park, failing which the Guest may be expelled from the territory of the Facility. The Guest who is unable to prove his/her right to enter from the Facility may not assert a claim against the Operator in connection with the expulsion, even if he/she can later prove his/her right of entry. Tickets purchased at the Facility are valid only on the day of purchase, are a single entry and are not transferable.
- The price list at cashier informs Guests about opening hours and admission prices.
- After the closing of the Facility, all Guests are obliged to leave the Family Park
- Everyone can use the Family Park and services at their own risk. In particular, we draw our guests' attention to deep water, the safe use of the slides, and the indoor and outdoor children's playgrounds, to which this especially applies.
- The Operator shall not be liable for accidents, injuries or damages resulting from improper use of the Facilities for reasons attributable to the Guest
- We shall not be liable for any inconvenience or error occurring due to technical or other reasons beyond the control of the Operator (e.g. power outage, failure of internet connection, inoperability of bank terminals, damage caused by Guests, partial shutdown due to maintenance, etc.). The Operator does not take responsibility for and does not guarantee the uninterrupted, full and continuous use and usability of all experiences, equipment and related areas in the Family Park, that’s why the Guest may not enforce any claim against the Operator for the limitations of usage. Some parts of the Family Park can be used with age and height limits, which have been established for the safety of the Guests. The Operator excludes its liability for any damage arising in connection with the violation of clearly placed restrictions
- In the case of children, the guardian is solely responsible for compliance with the House Rules.
- Persons under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other substances impairing judgment and coordination of movements (regardless of whether the permitted or prohibited substance or the Guest was entitled to use it for any reason) may not stay on the territory of the Facility, the Operator may deny them all services. If necessary, he is entitled to the assistance of a law enforcement authority.
- The furnishings and equipment of the Facility shall be used in accordance with their intended purpose. The guidelines placed on the territory of the Facility and placed on each experience element regarding the use of each experience element shall apply and be mandatory, the Operator shall be responsible only for the proper indication of these rules and its suitability for the use of the given element. The operator may demand compensation from anyone who causes damage intentionally or through careless behavior. The Company may initiate an infringement procedure against anyone who tries to use the service without redeeming the ticket.
- A person staying illegally in the area of the Family Park (without a valid ticket) may be obliged to pay a surcharge of HUF 5,000 in addition to purchasing the daily ticket. In case of loss of the watches/wristbands/cards required for entry, our guests are obliged to pay an additional fee of HUF 5,000.
- In case of littering and pollution in landscaped areas and pools, in addition to paying cleaning and water purification costs, a surcharge of HUF 5,000 may be charged.
- It is strictly forbidden to consume food and drinks in outdoor and indoor pools, saunas, children's play area. Meals and drinks are permitted in the Facility only in designated areas. Designated areas: Tico restaurant on the ground floor, Tico Bar in children's play area, outdoor Beach Bar and the outdoor beach area.
- It is strictly forbidden to litter or otherwise pollute the water of the pools and Lake Balaton.
- Smoking is only allowed in designated areas. Smoking outside the designated area is strictly forbidden, both inside and around buildings!
- The use of slippers in the Family Park is mandatory, except for saunas.
- It is forbidden to use the dry and wet children's play area of the Family Park or the pool area in street shoes.
- It is forbidden to use rooms of different genders – showers, washbasins, toilets, etc. –, only Guests of the indicated gender can use them, and others are prohibited from entering them.
- People with fever or infectious diseases are not allowed to visit the Familypark. If there is a state of your health, medications taken, or any other circumstance affecting your condition, coordination, judgment, or the safety of you or your surroundings or the Facility, the health or physical integrity of the Guests may be endangered by this circumstance, ask your doctor before entering, in case of doubt, refrain from entering the Facility. The Operator reserves the right to temporarily deny or restrict access if any circumstances under this clause are detected.
- No animal may be brought into the territory of the Family Park, except for dogs necessary for the performance of the security service (guard dogs) and assistance dogs kept with official permission due to health conditions.
- It is forbidden to behave in a manner that violates public morality or public order, or to violate the rules of coexistence.
- Guests are obliged to fully comply with the instructions of the lifeguard, animator and receptionist.
- The instructions indicated on the warning signs and pictograms are mandatory for all Guests.
- In order to avoid accidents, please pay special attention to each other's physical integrity.
- In the Spa or indoor and outdoor areas, loungers and sunbeds are only available to our Guests in a limited number, they can be used by the Guests on a first-come, first-served basis. The Operator is not obliged to provide sunbeds or loungers for all Guests.
- Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, their value cannot be returned or exchanged for other services. The gift voucher cannot be used beyond its validity period.
- Children under the age of 12 may only stay in the area of the Family Park accompanied by an adult, and persons under the age of 18 may use the pools, slides, indoor and outdoor children's play facilities, as well as the services and games of the Family Park solely under the responsibility of the adult and under its constant supervision.
- It is forbidden to sell any product, distribute flyers, offer services to other Guests without the permission of the Operator, request them, ask for any consideration, or solicit, recommend or demand support, offerings, free benefits.
- It is forbidden to bring into the premises of the Facility any device suitable for starting fires, any flammable or explosive device. It is forbidden to engage in any activity causing fire or open flame, to introduce, possess or use fireworks or other pyrotechnic devices.
- The Guest acknowledges that in order to maintain security, there is a security camera system and a 24-hour security service in the area of the Hotel and the Family Park. The rules for the operation of the camera system are placed at the entrance, the provisions of which are binding for all Guests.
- It is strictly forbidden to take items belonging to the Facility out of the Family Park.
- In the Familypark, a completely waterproof and non-slip surface can not be guaranteed even with the utmost care of the Operator. Therefore, all Guests are obliged to take extra precautions in the entire area of the Family Park, to pay more attention than usual in order to prevent falls and injuries, and to wear slippers suitable for limiting or excluding the chance of slipping. In wet areas, the risk of slipping increases during the entire opening hours, even without special indication, so in the absence of fault, the Operator excludes its liability for injuries resulting from slipping to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- Due to the nature of the operation of the Family Park and its limited public use, even with due care, it cannot be ruled out that a pathogen capable of causing infection may temporarily settle on the surfaces in contact with the Guests, or these surfaces become suitable for the transmission of infection temporarily (primarily in the period between two due cleanings). Infections of this kind are considered to be reasonably associated risks in connection with the use of the Facility, which are known to the Guests, so the Operator's liability in this regard - beyond the performance of improperly performed, normally expected cleaning - is excluded.
- In the case of damages caused in connection with the use of the Familypark, which can be traced back to reasons within its scope of responsibility, the Operator limits its liability to the value of one day's admission ticket within the scope permitted by law, by excluding liability for consequential damages, loss of profit and damages, which limitation was taken into account when determining the usage fee embodied in the admission value.
- The Operator assumes no responsibility and does not guarantee the uninterrupted, complete and continuous use and usability of all experiences, equipment and related areas in the Familypark, therefore the Guest cannot assert a claim against the Operator.
- The Operator is not responsible for things brought into the Familypark area - beyond what is expressly stated in these House Rules - including any damage caused to the things brought in for any reason.
Water World/Pool area
- It is forbidden to use the pools without using a pre-bath and foot wash. The condition for entering the pools is that the Guest adheres to the expected rules of hygiene, that their body surface and clothing are clean, and that they do not pose a risk to the pool or other Guests using it.
- It is forbidden to use the pools with dirty, oily, sandy body.
- Polluting the water in the pools, jumping into the water, or disturbing the peace of others is prohibited.
- Fragile objects (e.g. glass cups, mugs, etc.) or any objects capable of causing accidents or injuries (balls, rubber mattresses, etc.) may not be brought into the pools. Children's pools are an exception to this, where children's water toys can be brought in if they - due to their size, design or other characteristics - do not disturb the fun of other children and do not cause accidents.
- It is forbidden to jump into the pools from the side and occupy the stairs.
- Only guests can use the railings for the pools for the purpose of accident prevention and holding on. Sitting on, leaning on, and climbing over the railing is prohibited and dangerous.
- Persons who cannot swim may not use the pools.
- It is mandatory to use a bathing suit in the water world.
- Children under the age of 3 cannot use the water world.
- The water world cannot be used by people over the age of 14.
- The slide must be left immediately after sliding.
- Parental supervision is mandatory for children when using the water world.
- Watch, jewelry, mobile phone, etc. usage in the water world is forbidden.
- Running on the stairs is prohibited and dangerous.
- Climbing back down the slide is prohibited and dangerous.
- It is forbidden to slide on the slide while holding onto each other!
- Ignoring the barrier and climbing over it is prohibited!
- The slide may cause minor injuries even with proper use and maintenance based on individual characteristics (health condition, skin type, body weight, etc.), which injuries cannot be ruled out even with due care by the Operator. If the Guest has any doubts about the individual danger of the slide, consult your doctor before using it.
Children's playhouse
- Children under the age of 4 may only use the playground with parental supervision.
- The services of the playground can also be used by adults, including slides, children's climbing frames and other games.
- Indoor and outdoor children's toys can only be used in accordance with their intended purpose, and our guests must fully comply with the manufacturer's instructions posted on them.
- Climbing back down the slide is prohibited and dangerous.
- Climbing outside the children's playground is prohibited and dangerous.
- It is forbidden to use children's toys in street shoes. It is forbidden to go to the children's playground in inappropriate clothing.
Airship/Zeppelin/Gondola
- Compliance with the instructions posted on the glass fence of the gondola launch station is binding for everyone.
- During normal operation, the gondola rises to heights that are frightening for children, please consider this before placing your child on the gondola.
- The play device is not suitable for physically or mentally disabled persons.
- Everyone can use the gondola only at their own risk.
- The accompanying adult is responsible for the children.
- Compliance with the instructions given by the staff is mandatory.
- A maximum of 2 people can stay in a car.
- Fastening the seat belt is mandatory for those traveling in the car.
- Children under the age of 3 may not use the gondola.
- Children between the ages of 3 and 7 may only use the Play Device when accompanied by an adult.
- Children under the height of 110 cm cannot use the device alone.
- The maximum load capacity of a cart is 150 kg.
- People who are overweight or prone to dizziness may not use the device.
- Everyone should take care of their valuables (e.g. glasses, camera, phone, keys, hat, etc.). We ask our guests to take only the absolutely necessary items with them for traveling in the gondola, so that they do not fall out of the car.
- It is forbidden to collide with gondolas.
- Gondolas are not allowed to go backwards.
- Throwing any object from the play device is prohibited and dangerous.
- It is forbidden to extend hands and feet from the toys.
- It is forbidden to put food, drink or chewing gum on the play device.
- Standing up from the play device is prohibited.
Restaurant
- It is mandatory to wear appropriate clothing in the Familypark restaurant and buffet (Tico bar): dry clothes: t-shirt/shirt, shorts/trousers/skirt, slippers, etc.
- It is forbidden to enter the restaurant and buffet in a wet bathing suit.
- It is mandatory to wear slippers in the restaurant and buffet.
- It is forbidden to bring food, drinks and spirits into the Familypark.
Sauna/Steam cabin/salt room (collectively: Wellness elements)
- The Wellness elements are used with a valid ticket, which can be redeemed at the Familypark cash desk. The entrance fee of the Familypark includes the use of the Wellness elements and participation in the sauna shows.
- Only a limited number of our Guests can take part in sauna or steam cabin shows. Please indicate your intention to participate at the reception before the sauna show. If the capacity of the sauna/steam cabin has been reached by the number of applicants, we will no longer be able to accept guests. During the shows, the sauna can only be used by those who previously indicated their attention.
- Everyone can use the Wellness elements only at their own risk, in compliance with the published regulations.
- It is forbidden to bring media products, fragile objects, food, drinks, spirits and other objects not closely related to the service into the Wellness elements. When using the Wellness elements, it is not recommended to wear jewelry (including body jewelry, watches and other electronic or mechanical objects, regardless of their material), the Operator is not responsible for any damage to jewelry worn despite this recommendation.
- In the area of the Wellness elements, the behavior and movement of the Guest may not disturb the peace and rest of the other Guest.
- When using the Wellness elements, the use of the emergency signal is ensured.
- Only fragrances provided by the Operator may be used in the sauna.
- It is forbidden for our guests to spray anything on the sauna stoves.
- Children under the age of 12 may not use the Wellness elements.
- The use of textiles/sheets/towels in the sauna is mandatory.
- It is forbidden to sit or lie naked on the sauna benches.
- It is forbidden to enter the sauna in slippers.
- Before using the Wellness elements - with the advice of a doctor if necessary - make sure that its use does not endanger your health, that your health is suitable for the use of the Wellness elements, and find out about the medically recommended maximum usage time. The Operator does not provide advice and does not undertake or guarantee the suitability of the Wellness elements for a purpose or health-physical condition desired by a Guest, the Operator only ensures access to the Wellness elements and their intended use, and excludes all responsibility and guarantees beyond that. The Operator does not guarantee unlimited or complete availability of the Wellness elements.
Opening hours/Ticket issuance
- Opening hours: According to the opening hours posted at the Familypark reception.
- Cash registers close 60 minutes before the end of opening hours.
- The pool closes 30 minutes before the end of the opening hours.
- In some cases - especially, but not exclusively, on public holidays or national holidays - the Operator may change the opening hours of the services, but is obliged to notify the Guests in advance, if possible.
- In other cases - e.g. technical questions, problems, power outages, special events, etc. - the Operator has the right to close the Facilities in whole or in part (in particular, to close the pools, elevators or adventure/experience elements). In such cases, the Guests are not entitled to claim compensation or to submit other claims against the Operator.
- The access to the the establishment is only valid for the service for which it was purchased. Passes for discounts must be presented upon entry without being asked.
- Children under the age of 6 can only use the children's pool under adult supervision. Persons supervising the children - e.g. parents, grandparents - they cannot use the children's pool for bathing.
Buyers' book, health care, first aid
- The Buyers' Book is available to Guests at the reception. The manager of the Operator is obliged to investigate complaints, comments and suggestions in accordance with the relevant rules, and to take action based on them.
- The Guest Book is available to the Guests for other entries.
- An employee trained in first aid must also be on duty during the entire operating time of the Facility. The first aid station is located at the corner of the indoor adventure pool, next to the stairs leading to the upper floor.
- We ask our guests to notify the staff immediately if they notice or suspect that someone needs first aid (e.g. accidents, nausea, fainting, etc.). The Operator may not give any medication to the Guests, even if they are specifically requested it.
Value preservation
- The Operator shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the loss of objects left unattended on the premises of the Facility (including, but not limited to the pool area, saunas, steam cabins, corridors, waiting rooms, changing rooms, dressing rooms, restrooms, indoor and outdoor children's play areas, the restaurant, Tico bar, etc.) assumes no responsibility. Please use the safe deposit box to preserve your valuables. Any valuables brought into the premises of the Facility with the knowledge of the Operator will only be deemed to be placed in a safe deposit box designated by the Operator, and the Operator shall not be liable for any other valuables.
Other provisions
- Please comply with the regulations contained in the policy. Anyone who does not comply with the policy, even despite a warning, may be denied service, may be excluded from using the service or entering the Facility.
- The person who violates the rules of the Familypark or disturbs the tranquility of the Guests must be removed from the Facility and excluded from further use of the spa services. If necessary, the cooperation of the police or an official person can also be used for this. In recurring or serious cases, at the decision of the Operator, the person may be excluded from the service users for a longer period of time, in which case no claim can be asserted against the Operator.
- An employee performing responsible service activities in Familypark is considered an official person, and as such is entitled to the protection applicable to official persons.
- The Guest is responsible for any damage caused either intentionally or through careless behavior. He is obliged to compensate the damage caused.
- The Operator of the Familypark assumes no responsibility for any damage caused to the parking area.
- Our guests can use the parking lot free of charge.
- This policy is freely available and reviewable for all Guests using the service. Entering the premises of the Facility and using it also means accepting the House Rules at the same time. If a Guest does not consider the provisions of the House Rules to be acceptable, he must leave the Facility immediately.
